a female common blue ?

Hiya,

Sorry these butterfly pics have very shallow depth of field - can you tell which species it is?
I wonder if it's a female Common Blue.
Certainly one that's seen better days anyway.
Seen at Whitecliff Bay, IOW.

It could be but as you say it is a bit far gone. One of our experts will let you know shortly though

I reckon it's a female Common Blue based on what I can see in the pictures - but not definite.
