Could this be a pair of silver studded blues?


I couldn't tell you what they looked like from the top as they neber moved from this position.

I live in Whitchurch, Shropshire, which does have a few silver studded blues around, though I know it's more likely what I've found is common something or other.

Common Blues for me. It's rather early in the season for Silver-studded Blues yet; mainly July/August , but some will probably appear from mid/late June.

Yes Common Blues. Silver-studded Blues have a bluey/silvery 'stud' in the orange spots of their underwings...hence their name. Lovely shot of these little beauties though VW.
