I've seen one or two painted ladies on most of my walks recently. There was one today at College Lake, Bucks. |

one feeding on buttercups last week - all others were on the high tops moving rapidly.
Food plant supposed to be mainly thistles, lots just appearing now on the moors here, so they may be more easily spotted if still around.

I dreamt I saw a painted lady last night !! 
Guess that's probably the only place I will see one .. still none around here as yet

I finally saw a very, very battered one yesterday! I struggled to to think what it was at first as it was so battered. |

Still a few odd ones about at work in Basingstoke. In fact I've just seen a very worn one sunning itself on the side of a car tyre! |
