 What an amazing thread!
There were about 10 Painted Ladies flying and feeding in my garden in SW Ireland today..... lovely to see as there haven't been any the last couple of years. |

So where have they gone!
Thursday I saw lots on my drive home, Friday only a couple lunch time, and none since
Did none stop to breed? Are they all up North somewhere? When they get to the top do they stop, or are they heading for Iceland 
Hope we do get Clouded Yellows, not seen one for years.

Didn't see a single one today up on the Embankment by County Hall, just a solitary red admiral flying swiftly and a large white. |
