It's a Green-veined White (Pieris napi). |

At the moment there seem to be many more Green-veined whites than Small Whites. I think they benefited from the damp summer as they don't particularly like hot, dry summers. |

I must admit all the butterflies I have seen this year have been white (they never landed so I couldnt get any pics!  ). When I was younger we had Peacocks, Red Admirals, Orange-Tips,etc. I seldom see any now other than the odd Comma and alot of Speckled Woods | | |
