Where was it taken? If in the UK then it will most likely be a Clouded Yellow. Both Pale Clouded Yellow and Berger's Clouded Yellow are rare migrants, Berger's even more so than pale.
Pale Clouded Yellows occur annually in the UK, sometimes in numbers. |

I would say, C. croceus. The others are extremely rare migrants. |

Lol, yeh thats right. Hes given me some of his pics for a site we are hoping to create, Ive taken it upon myself to make sure each pic is 100% spot on. I dont see him that often so I didnt even realise he had his pics anywhere other than Flickr lol |

yeh he runs a sport website, and I want to tak on the wildlife side of things so he has kindly donated some of his pics. Its good cuz he travels alot so he gets some crackin pics | | |
