| | | Brown and orange butterfly Hello everybody.
I'm new in the forum and I need some help to identify this butterfly.
At first I thought it was a Lasiommata megera - Wall brown, but the spots don't coincide and the cells either.
I will be very grateful to any help. |

| | | Re: Brown and orange butterfly Yes a Wall. This is a Male, the cell colour is slightly different to that of the female, this may have been where you got mixed up. Welcome to WAB |

| | | Re: Brown and orange butterfly Put this down as a probable Wall Brown, but not totally certain. On the cliff path, near Bolt Head, S. Devon, 20th April. 2 or 3 of them flying around me but had the wrong lens so struggled for a good sharp photo.
Was this a correct ID or have a totally messed up? |
