I thought it was a moth at first too Roger, but I always thought moths were hairier and had feather like antenae. These were flying in bright sunshine

I have moved 3 times in last 2 years but still in same village and have had totally different moths in all 3 locations. Best were in first house overlooking Romney Marsh on the escarpment. I took Dungeness speciality the Pigmy footman there. It is strange how moving a couple of hundred yards can give you different species of moth not seen before! My small garden now seems to take very little compared. Maybe I should put my trap out the front of my bungalow and upset the neighbours.......
