| | | Re: Butterfly confirmation Hi I am far from being an expert in fact I see myself as a novice when it comes to Butterflies!
So hardly the person to actually confirm as to what butterfly it is!!!!
But if the butterfly reference page is anything to go by then I believe it to be a Lulworth Skipper!
I'm also keen to find out......
Look forward to seeing which one it actually is!
All the best
Jez

| | | Re: Butterfly confirmation I'm leaning more towards Large Skipper Ochlodes sylvanus due to the feint markings on the underside of the wings, but I wouldn't rule out Lulworth.
Whereabouts was it seen? |

Whereabouts was it seen? | Langstone harbour, Havant. A long way from Lulworth. Its damn difficult identifying this butterfly from most of the other skippers.

| | | Re: Butterfly confirmation I think Lulworth occurs anywhere along the South coast but I'm still going for Large Skipper. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
