| | | Small white butterfly Not too good with butterflies! Spotted this fellow in my garden and he obligingly stayed put for a photo! I think the markings and colours of the wings are beautiful. I did not see the open wings. I think he was sleeping!

| | | Re: Small white butterfly im 100% with the others, a female orange tip it is, as you can see by the green mottled underwing. This is plain white in pieris (white) species.

Mine was on sweet rocket is there a good chance it might have laid eggs?
I shall have to keep a look out for caterpillars!
