Didn't manage to get a photo, but saw my VERY FIRST orange tip butterfly today. Magic.
Anyone else seen one this year? |

Yep saw one today too, also quite a few yellow ones aswell. Not sure what make they were. |

I also saw 6 peacocks, 1 small tortoiseshell, 2 speckled woods, 3 male Brimstones and 1 female, 1 green veined white, and 1 red admiral.
All at Whisby nature centre near Lincoln.  |

Seems like all the orange tips were out in the sunshine today... all over the country. Or maybe one butterfly with very strong wings!
I've seen peacocks, brimstone, speckled wood and comma as well. No red admiral, green veined or tortoiseshell yet.
What is likely to be next in Dorset? |

I have seen about 6 Butterflies today peacock and comma the other four looked brown in colour again peacock or comma but to quick to properly identify.
What plants are out for them this early ?
