Comma Butterfly Sighting
Thought you might like to see my "first" comma butterfly. Not just of this year but EVER.... Haven't seen one ever before.

This battered, overwintered comma was sunbathing on some leaves in my garden this morning.

What a great way to start the day

Lovely to see them about again. I saw my first butterfly of the year yesterday too - a small tortoiseshell on a wall at Wimpole Hall.

No comma's as yet. They are one of my favourites but I did see a couple of small tortie butterflies in the garden earlier this week
