Brimstone Butterfly

No Brimstones but did see a Peacock today, the first butterfly of any sort I have seen this year.

I saw my first two butteflies of the year yesterday - both Brimstones

We had a couple of Tortoishells in the garden yesterday and today Brimstone's seemed to be everywhere out in the Worcestershire countryside.

I feel better now as I saw my first Brimstone today, a gorgeous male. My friend beat me already though as he saw and photographed a mating pair last week! Also saw some Comma's today.

Getting into spring now. Brimstone yesterday, buff tailed bumblebee and 7 spot ladybird today. And replaced my woolly cap with my baseball cap!

Saw my first Brimstone just before the biggest downpour so far today,in dashing under shelter I noticed that a jackdaw has taken up residence in next doors eaves supplanting the more usual starling

No butterflies yet, but several ladybirds and a couple of bees. I dont think the Manchester climate is warm enough for butterflies yet paul

I saw Brimstones in Leigh last week Paul.

I saw my first Bumble Bees of the year yesterday whilst out walking in Standish, Wigan.

I saw 2 Brimstones at Lonsdale Road Reservoir in Barnes, London Yesterday. As well as Buff tailed Bee.

I saw a couple of Bumble Bees in our back garden whilst putting up the kids' trampoline today.
Its the first signs of wildlife in our garden
