Not seen one all year either strangely as they are normally a common species |

Very few here in the south east,
And they were at least a month ago,and for the first time in quite a few years no Humming bird Hawk moths either.
Hoping this current (poor warm spell  ) may make up some numbers?

Only seen a handful up here so far, but the way the weather`s been until recently its no surprise really.

I've seen about 4 in total and 1 Humming-bird Hawkmoth. That's about it though. Just looked up in my recording book. The first PL I saw was on the 30/5/07 at Elmley.

None recently- but saw several May/June including my garden where I also had my earliest (+only this year so far) HHM.
Off to south coast today with a group visiting Titchfield Haven, so will be interesting to see if any migrants there? | | | |
