| | | Re: Free vote to scrap hunting ban But there are pro-hunting labour and libdem MP's and anti tories so it's not that clear cut. My main thought on it is there are more pressing matters at hand - Proper hunting doesn't start til november anyway

James | yep dont think hunting is top of the agenda and like you say proper hunting don't start till november unless you count ferreting in which case................. only eat a rabbit if theres an R in the month lol

| | | Re: Free vote to scrap hunting ban Ah thats a shame, I read the title incorrectly. I thought it said free vote on a scrap with those trying to overturn the hunting ban. My free vote would have been a tick for scrapping with such remmingtons.
2010 and the hunting ban is still a big issue with the old guard. They will all die out in the next 50 years anyway along with the archiac practices associated with country recreation. |

And what's a Remmington??? Remington make good rifles and shotties, and grooming products, but surely that's not what you meant?

I don't think it'll materialise - or if it does, it won't increase beyond the rate it is at the moment - for whatever reason, pro-hunters always say making it illegal had increased hunting.
Hopefully this thread won't degenerate - actually, we could have had our own vote, had one been posted with this thread. You know, those in favour of a repeal and others wanting it upheld? Just a thought! Quote:
