| | | Re: Pike anglers I fish mainly for trout on the fly rod but have been dabbling with pike fly fishing .There was a record pike caught for chew valley lake last week . 40.5 lb on a pike fly rod. Will be in the angling times this week i think or next .
Even here a double is a good fish , there are many pike in chew and some real biggies but a double is still something to be very proud of,the 33lb fish mentioned on here is a fish many pike anglers will never get close too and is really a massive fish.. |

| | | Re: Pike anglers Jeez quite a few of yous, I didn't expect that. I've been a mad keen piker for almost 15years now. Had loads of Fish over 20lbs with a of 41lb 2oz. Angling times had me in the top 10 catches of all time. In 4hours fishing I had fish of 22lb, 26lbs, 27lbs, 27lb 12oz, 28lbs and the 41lb 2oz giant. Since that day I feel I have reached my goal and my hearts not in it anymore. That's why I have moved onto wildlife as my main hobby. Seen some fantastic things during my fishing sessions though, it's half the enjoyment of the sport. |

I sit for hours now just watching the comings and goings of my pond..love it. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
