you say that you cut the tree down last year so its possible that that certain cache has been archived because of lots of people not finding it. If it has been archived theres no way of finding it on the web | i think you are right - unless some muppet moved the whiteleaf one as the container type etc was very similar. Next time i'm in the area (which wont be for several weeks) I'll have a look and see if i can find it again - if so i guess it will have a name etc.
this is part of the problem with the whole geocaching concept is that its not always with the permission of the landowner or site manager so caches (particulaly those in trees etc) are going to get moved / damaged etc
during site ops.

i cant remember what the writing on it said , but it was that sort of box with black writing on the lid - like i said i'll have a look next time i'm there, and take a photo.
