Nice one, Stewy! I'm going to have to get Ian one of those hats to go with all the flyfishing kit he bought at the weekend. Hopefully he's going to try it out on Saturday

Good luck to him, has he been before? I was lucky as we were the only ones on the lakes when we went so I didn't feel too nervous, my casting is a bit iffy but I'm sure that will improve with time............

I actually caught 2 fish.



2lb 12oz & 3lb 4oz, there are fish in there up to 30lb!!!!

He's only tried it once, so is hoping to find somewhere without too may other people so he doesn't look like a total numpty!

Well done on the two fish! We've found a local reservoir that does a yearly permit for £130, with a max take of 4 fish, so we like the look of that one
