When we used to keep em ( long time ago ) , they loved bread & milk warmed up together , plus meat as and when .
Do you make your own purse nets ?

Re: my ferrets

They are gorgeous YF09! Thanks for showing

They only smell when they are 'complete'; if neutered the smell goes I actually don't mind it, every animal has it's own odour and, I have certainly smelled worse lol

Is it a dried food then...So you eat the excess how many rabbits does it take to feed them..

And how many rabbits do you catch in a day..

I feed rabbits to mine too YF09 I also feed them ox or lambs heart and chicken for the bone content. I often see the odd road kill in a clean condition so I pick them up too.

How many ferrets do you have? I have seven now

Oh wow! they started early - one mine is only just showing signs of coming into season. Have you bred them before, do you know what to do?

Re: my ferrets

Thanks YF09 yours are lovely!

The dark ones were always my favs but I have recently got a soft spot for the whites and albinos, I have one albino and the silver/white black eyed in the photo below.

My albino will be a good worker and by b/f wants to give her a try I understand whites are better for working as BOP's don't class them as prey whereas the darker ones could be taken.
