can anyone tell me what a letter box hybrid geocache is? I went after one today but couldn't find it as I didn't know what I was looking for   |

It uses clues instead of coordinates, KT. As far as I am aware you are looking for a box with a log and an ink pad and a stamp.
You should take your stamp to stamp the log.

That's not much of an answer  , why do you need to stamp a log ?, what are you both doing.

Max. | I think I get what you all mean. A geocache is usually a container somewhere and you go and sign the log or deposit a travel bug / geocoin. So a letter box is just one with a stamp in it.

Ive ordered a GPS off ebay and will now be able to get more! Ive got all the local ones because I know the area after paper rounds, bike rides and bus journeys. Now when I go on days out , I can stop off and get more with this GPS. |

I did actually . Theres a huge trail of them called the Witton Weavers Way around Blackburn. Its like a 32 mile trek series if done in one day  I got this one which was next to the road on the way to my grandmas | | |
