Game Fair

I have just got home from a day out at the game fair.
A fantastic place for anyone interested in field sports or the countryside. We had a lovely day wandering around, watching the displays and doing a bit of shopping. Blenheim Palace is a beautiful place for the fair to be held, once you are in the grounds.
Two gripes: We sat for two and a half hours in traffic jams before we got near the place, nearly turned round and went home.
The entrance fee of £25.00 per head. Myself, my son and wife, £75.00 to get in for the day seems a bit steep especially when a large chunk of the day was wasted trying to get into the place.

I Will have to think hard about future shows.

Yup sounds like a game fair

I take it it was the CLA one?? Just a guess with the prices, I go each year to the Midland (or did do) which apart from he CLA Game Fair which travels up and down the country is one of the biggest.

Traffic is always an issue we spent nearly a hour getting out of one the other year to give up and go back for a walk round for another hour or two. After going for a few years you will find it's the same from year to year and just the prices go up

As from last year we knocked the big ones on the head and go more local now to the local country fairs (whcih are the same but MUCH smaller, and cheaper!)
