Obviously the river Ebro in Spain has some monsters in as do rivers in France but what about over here? |

| | | Re: catfish I'm sure we must have a few in our rivers, maybe most of them are not deep enough perhaps? Although I would of thought somewhere like the Norfolk broads could maybe make a good habitat for them? |

| | | Re: catfish I think there is a very substantial minority of speciman hunters who have no qualms about moving fish about. I think if they arent any moggies in any rivers they will be at some point.
I caught some in France some years ago I have never caught a freshwater fish that fought so hard pound for pound,.,,,

| | | Re: catfish Yeh theres been some out the Trent and Thames, Wells cats that is. I've had a few up to 22lb, and don't really like them myself, mainly due to the fact that they've really dented the Roach and Rudd stocks at my local lake
The guy in the story would do well to get a record claim passed as they stopped the Catfish record ages ago! |
