| | | Field Craft Books Does anyone know of any books etc for stalking wildlife ie badgers otters mink as they exist down by our river. Other than the badgers who's sett I have found I do not know where to start looking for the otters and mink. |

Take a digital camera with you on your foreys and take pictures of the tracks you see someone here will beable to varify what you have, also try "Likely area searches" this means try looking in areas that the animals will be likely to use either as hunting areas or to travel eg muddy riverside banks, muddy patches by hedgerows etc, a good tip is to take a stiff brush and brush a muddy likely track area flat and make a note of the time then go beck and check it at intivals maing notes of what has passed over in that time period, this will give you a good idea of times to set up hides and watch for the critters passing buy.
