| | | Re: Box Or Bag Box for me, i hate using bags. Bags are poor at protecting Ferrets from the elements. The Ferret also stands a good chance of being crushed if you fall. I would rather except a broken rib from a box, rather than loose a Ferret. If your box is sturdy, then you have also got a seat
I make my carring boxes from plastic drianage pipes, and put the doors on the ends. Very light weight, comfortable and a lot more water proof.

| | | Re: Box Or Bag We just used to carry ours in our pockets and a bag full of nets and away we went me dad used to reckon that the ferrets used to get to comfy in boxes mind you im not always sure we were really ment to be ferreting some of the places we went good old dad taught me some good tricks lol

If you have to leg it, the poor devils get knocked about something cruel in a box, but which ever you use ferrets are hardy animals and will put up with most things, as you will no doubt know if you have ever had one backed up by a tough old buck. Over the years I have used both and I think its more down to what you are comfortable with than anything, as ferrets dont seem to mind either way.
