| | | Bean Goose in Surrey? Could someone point me in the right direction for this please?
I see it's in Mill Lane, Thorpe.
Is Thorpe as in Thorpe Park area? Or Mill Lane as in near Bracknell (the A3095)?
And where is the field it hangs out in?
Thanks,
Nige |

| | | Re: Bean Goose in Surrey? Mill Lane in immediately south of Thorpe Village in Surrey. The goose is in a flock of Greylag Geese in a cattle field right by the roadside. You will need decent bins and, if it's at the far side of the field, a telescope. You should be able to make out that it is sligtly smaller than the Greylags and has a darker head. The orange legs are not that distinct at a distance unless it's a sunny day.

| | | Re: Bean Goose in Surrey? Nice one. Unfortunately I don't think it's been reported since When we went we never saw any geese at all, they may have all gone to play in Thorpe Park
