| | | Re: Boring Boring Seagulls. Not the most highbrow suggestion but keep a look out for Herring gulls on grassy areas trying to intice worms to the surface. They do a little jig to mimic rain fall i believe and can look pretty hilarious. Plenty of dancing gull clips on youtube - always makes me giggle. I should grow up probably |

| | | Re: Boring Boring Seagulls. Had a good year for gulls this year , along with 5 commoners i've had Mediterannean , Glaucous , Iceland , caspian and yellow-legged gulls. Just need Ring-billed and the more obvious Little gull and i can put the Gull swatting to one side , unless a Thayers Gull turns up that would be fun. |

| | | Re: Boring Boring Seagulls. And all of these are on my desperate to see list. So you see, gulls are fun!
PS Were you with Mike when he got his Caspian/YLG? What was it? 3 hours looking through 6000 gulls?

| | | Re: Boring Boring Seagulls. And when you want a rest from the difficult stuff, just watch them flying, you
will be hard pushed to see such aerodynamic perfection. They used ground effect before we even had a name for it, and have a very economic high flying technique, extremely accomplished flyers and they enjoy it as well!
