| | | punky female blackbird We have a female blackbird in the garden this year with a tuft of feathers sticking up from the back of her head. She is extremely aggressive, chasing of all males as well as other females. She was sitting in a tree with 2 females and a male perched above her and she went for the male first then chased off the 2 females. Is this normal behaviour? Doesn't she want a mate?!! |
