| | | Is this a Brambling? This bird was exhausted and/or injured. It was sitting rather than standing, and did not fly away when approached. Location: Budleigh Salterton seafront, on a cold (zero deg C) afternoon.
The nearest visual match I can find is the Brambling, but it looks a bit pale. Can anyone help? |

| | | Re: Is this a Brambling? Nice shot of snow bunting these birds are not as a norm shy at all you often get very close to them and even when they do fly don't go far at all as seen in the OP. this bird most likely been in Britain for a while now so not likely to be tired just confiding  MIKE |
