On the way down to take Ted for his run I stopped to pick up a fresh rd kill which I pegged out in front of my hide.
Back home for a flask and the camera then a couple of hours in the hide.
I hadn't been there long when a kestrel dropped in and started to enjoy a nice breakfast. 
It hadn't been feeding very long when it was harrassed by a gull which it bravely chased off. 
The kestrel carried on feeding peacefully for a while when it was harrassed by a much larger adversary. 
To my amazement it stood its ground and actually saw off the harrier. 
What a brave little bird. |

Brilliant series of pics.
I'm envious that you managed to see this let alone photograph it.

I'm using IExif which tells me the image has no EXIF information, time to change programs I think!
