| | | What sort of Finch is this? Going by the beak shape, I'd say this was a finch. The fairly dull colour suggests it's a female, but what sort of finch? |

| | | Re: What sort of Finch is this? Thanks Raptorman - house sparrows do live around the spot where I shot this one, but it looked a lot slimmer and with more uniform plumage than I thought was typical of a sparrow. |
