| | | Re: Worry over an Osprey Hi All,
Hopefully all the Ospreys will make it back, i was watching a young un-ringed male all summer here in Aviemore and he was feeding at my Lochan all summer, so i know he had plenty food.
The birds really struggled with fish here last summer, the big trout fishery had hardly any fish the right size for the Ospreys and the river had a very poor Sea-trout season with very low numbers.
I will be watching for his return to his perch around the 18th/20th March.
I will have a Osprey viewing hide built by then......... can't sit out in the cold and rain early in the morning all summer again.
Thanks Gordon. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
