| | | Re: Woodpecker in garden........How?? They are very partial to peanut butter, especially in the winter. You can smear it onto tree bark or just about anything.
This shot was taken in Scotland in the summer. I attached a branch to the underside of a bird table for the smaller birds to use as a landing/queuing post but it also attracted the GSW.
You can see the peanut butter on his beak and hanging down from the far side of the branch.
