| | | Birding spots Brighton\Eastbourne? Hi all,
Me the pest again
Probably going down to Brighton\Eastbourne area with the family on Friday. Just wondering if people could point out some good areas to see some decent birds and what I might see?
I've had a look around some Sussex bird sites but not much for that particular area.
Also does anyone know if there are still Snow Bunting at the Widewater Lagoon?
Thanks,
Nige |

Take a look here - Sussex Ornithological Society
It's the recent sightings for the Sussex Ornithological Society and seems to cover those areas more than the Hastings area where I am.
If there was one area I'd love to try to get to it would be Rodmell Brooks or Waltham Brooks for the Short Eared Owls. There's some good write ups for that area , here's one - Sussex Awash with Owls! | Wild Comment
I can't offer any first hand advice as I've not been there but as Friday's forecast is good it would rely on the wind as they don't like strong winds.
Good luck whatever you decide!

Cheers,
