You'd soon get fed up with them though if they were constantly on your sunflower seed feeders, to the exclusion of other birds! This was our situation until I bought a caged feeder that prevented large birds getting to the seeds. A 'normal' squirrel proof feeder is no good as the parakeets get their heads through the bars.
