Ducks in flight i.d. help

I saw a large flock of these fly overhead this morning, at Seven Sisters in Sussex. I'm tending to a wigeon as i.d. but confirmation (or not) appreciated.

Yes wigeon, you usually hear their squeeling calls in flight.

Thanks! That was a quick crop. The flock was about 40 birds. Impressive to watch.

Never thought of the calls as squealing; I'd describe it as a whistle. Guess everyone has different interpretations of sounds which is why it's so hard to describe in words a call.

I always think they sound a bit like SQUUEEEEEALL

Your right, things sound different to different people, I suppose they do have a whistling sound to them.

Personally i would say they have a whistley squeely call
