| | | Re: Stuck on Ducks should of recognised the WH Duck myself , the male Bufflehead is a very handsome bird i know theres been a female off the coast of cornwall for a while but apologies for interrupting the thread but does anyone know if we have ever had a male in Britain ? |

Without looking it up it must have been c20 years ago. Pretty sure it isn't the only one, but remains a pretty rare vagrant + as with all wildfowl the waters are always muddied by the escape possibility. The one I saw was accepted as wild. |
