| | bonxies vs bops? I understand that GBB gulls sometimes attack bonxies but do any birds of prey attack them? LIke goshawks ?
ALso are bonxies only able to kill grey herons over water? i keep hearing of them killing and eating grey herons but it must be only done over water there is no way a bonxie could do it without the aid of drowing it? |

not sure about BOP but ive heard of Glaucous gulls attacking GBB gulls.
with the herons like with other birds i'd imagine Bonxies using drowning as theyre preferred method of attack. |

| | | Re: bonxies vs bops? I'd imagine it'd be quite hard for any bird to kill a Heron other than over the waters, especially with the spear of a beak they have to fight back
I imagine some of the larger gulls would perhaps have a go at GBBGs, whether they'd be able to kill it or not I think would be unlikely unless it's injured.
Raptors tend to go for smaller prey, I've not heard of them attacking the larger gulls before.

| | | Re: bonxies vs bops? Yes some raptors will kill GBB's. I have heard of peregrine taking adult GBB's before. Also heard of Goshawk taking a grey heron :0
