Gull ID Please

A couple of id`s required for these gulls. I have ordered a gull ID book off amazon but it hasnt arrived yet.

Herring Gull and Common Gull ??

???

All Herring Gulls of varying age stages as far as I can see.

Agree all Herring Gull.

I think the first pic is a 3CY and two 1CY birds, second pic is a juvenile, and the third pic 3CY again.

Hopefully someone will correct if I'm wrong

I would say that would depend on when the pictures were taken! If taken in January then the young birds (two in pic 1 and the pic 2 bird) are all 2CY (1st winter). If taken September-December then the young birds are all 1CY (still 1st winter!).

The 3rd bird looks like an adult but with some black marks in the bill so I guess a 4th winter but it might be an advanced 3rd winter.
