| | | Seen my first dipper
For as long as I can remember I've wanted to see a dipper. Been out to do a bit of photography in the lovely frost this morning by the River Derwent and I had a wonderful view of a kingfisher, shortly followed by seeing a dipper running up the weir. Made my day  |

Congratulations! They're lovely little birds, aren't they? We see them on the river here regularly and its always a pleasure, plus usually considered a sign that the river itself is clean and healthy.

I saw a Dipper last year. 
It's the Kingfisher that eludes me!
