| | | Best descirption I can give..... A bird appeared on our bird table and could find no picture in the few birdie books we have.
About the size of a big sparrow but the posture is erect and a cap of speckly charcoal grey and a long square bib of similar colour, the back was lightbrown and mid brown streaky feathers more noticeable than a Dunnock, the most unusual thing was a thin line of very light brown running from the bottom of the cap and meeting under the chin above the bib, the bib was about half as long again as it was wide. I watched it for a while and tried to remember noticeable things about it. Over to you. All suggestions will be followed up with a search for a picture. Cheers, Tony. |
