| | | Re: Garden List 2012 We have a very small urban garden and sadly never get quite as many birds in as we'd ideally like. Never give up trying though.
So off the top of my head so far this year (in approximate order of most>least seen):
1. Blackbird
2. Robin
3. Dunnock
4. Blue tit
5. Great tit
6. Wood pigeon
7. Collared dove
8. Blackcap (female)
9. Wren
10. Long-tailed tit
11. Starling
12. Coal tit
13. Goldfinch
14. Magpie
Things seen in the last few years that would like to see again include: Heron, jay, great spotted woodpecker, carrion cow, jackdaw, chaffinch, bullfinch and anything else different would be nice |

| | | Re: Garden List 2012 My Garden is very small (Half the size of a Tennis-Court) and has no: Water, Reeds, Evergreens, etc. so I'm pleased with 17 Species so far this year. Its also got a large trampoline making it hard to attract Birds but my 4 feeders and hanging table have worked a real treat.
1. Blackbird
2. Wood Pigeon
3. Great Tit
4. Dunnock
5. House Sparrow
6. Blue Tit
7. Coal Tit
8. Magpie
9. Fieldfare
10. Long-Tailed Tit
11. Redwing
12. Rook (On fence)
13. Wren
14. Robin
15. Pied Wagtail
16. Common Gull
17. Black-headed Gull
I was stunned when 2 Black-Headed Gulls and a Common Gull landed in the Garden and knicked all the bread.
I don't count fly-overs, but I've had some nice ones this year (107 Lapwings and a Grey Heron were the best!)

| | | Re: Garden List 2012 25 Coal Tit
Good to see a pair of these back today at the feeders. They were around daily around Xmas period but my first sighting this year, though I'n not often around to see the feeders that much, but combo of flu + miserable weather has me house bound today. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
