I couldn't believe how many we saw- running around in the fields after the hens like big daft roadrunners, (they do run in a funny way, with their necks stuck straight out.) These are two photos I was able to get with the very small, second-hand digital camera I had at the time, (in fact, I think these are probably the first bird pics I ever took  )
So if you're ever down that way, I recommend it for pheasant spotting.

Those are pretty good shots especially when compared with my best effort to date.
They always see me coming and decide to take the mick and dive for cover. I will persevere lol
