I've just heard from the mods and quality of image is the reason for deleting. My first try at posting the image was rejected but I thought that was because of the file size...so I altered that and re-posted and as it was on there for almost a couple of hours I assumed the file size was the reason for the first rejection. I have now been made aware that if an image is rejected it shouldn't be posted again and I do see the logic in this. But, if you think the image is a reasonable one (I'm new to birds re: photographing!)and no one tells you it isn't....then you're left puzzling over why!! So at least I'm clear about things now.
I do respect the fact that the mods dicision is final, it has to be or it would be a nightmare for them.
Thanks Kayleigh and fellow WABbers for all your help...I'll just have to try and take better images !!
Regards,
Jean

Jean | Yes the images have to be of good quality and in focus like the mods said you can upload them to the "image" Gallery as they are not vetted for quality.
We all have had images rejected just move on to the next one and try to better it.
I find it really hard to get a sharp image on wab but find the pics I up load to flickr come out better something to do with the software when they upload I think or I am not very good lol |
