I have been trying to get a good shot of the Greater Spotted Woodpecker
that come into my garden for a long time now... at last i got the chance

They're difficult to catch, aren't they? I've been trying for several months to get a decent photo of the one that visits our garden occasionally, but without any luck so far.

Well done on getting such a nice profile shot of him!

The photo is crying out for a bit of work on the shadows and adding brightness. Birds in shadow with a bright background are a nightmare!
