| | | Fireworks and wildlife Last night while going to pick my daughter up from new years eve celebrations. Just after midnight all the fireworks were going off tousands of Gulls were flying over there and Around the local football Stadium area. They were flying all around sometimes back and forth must have been so scared. There are a lot of Carsales Showrooms in the area so a lot of light helped to see these panic stricken birds.

| | | Re: Fireworks and wildlife Gulls do fly at night too but I understand your concern over wildlife. With all the noise of the fireworks going on last night, I was fairly surprised to hear foxes in our garden. They didn't seem to be intimidated at all. Perhaps urban animals cope better with noise and disturbance.

| | | Re: Fireworks and wildlife I went to visit a local pond after November 5th and was quite disgusted to see a pile of used rockets about 6 feet away from the edge and some of the rockets had come back down to earth and landed in the water. What a place to pick to have a "party".. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
