Definately nailed fieldfare today, must have seen 40+ on a quick walk and from the office window flying east after the rain. Planning a proper walk round tommorow which should be productive, added only 4 more common sps on top of the fieldfare today.

So thats 30 for me

Coming in on the list for the first time this year. First bird of the year was Pheasant and at the end of day 3 I have ended with 52 species. Only one new species today (Herring Gull). My highlight of the year so far was Short-eared Owl, yesterday.

A brief walk at lunchtime got me Wren, L Redpoll, Kestrel, Song Thrush, Bullfinch and Redwing. This takes me up to 31.

First trip out this year, an afternoon's stroll along the seafront. Current total 17, including Purple Sandpiper, Kittiwake, Mediterranean Gull and Red-throated Diver.

A bit lacking in quantity, but can't fault the quality
