Bramblings?

Anyone had any Bramblings in their garden yet? Or seen any, I'm on the lock out, thought I had one this morning but turned out to be a Chaffinch...

No not yet- always a thrill to see. My local "white rumps" are virtually always Bullfinches! Still I always get pleasure from seeing these.

We've been getting a Brambling maybe once or twice a week in the garden since early November.

Had a few in October perhaps c.40. Most seem to have moved inland. Nowhere near as many as last winter.

One or two about hear in cheshire but not as meny as last year, was getting up to four at a time in garden this time last year, none as yet this year and only seen one so far locally.

I have seen one regularly, always when there is a lot of Chaffinches.It is very shy and stays as far from the viewing window as possible,almost always feeding at "the back of the bird table" I am in Perthshire and see Bramblings most winters.
