| | | Re: Wasp nest / wren's nest We had a few anxious moments as bits kept falling off and we expected to find the whole thing with chicks on the floor. My hubbie put an empty hanging basket on a shelf underneath just in case but the wrens obviously knew what they were doing.
What's wrong with all the nest boxes we put up, that's what I want to know! |

What's wrong with all the nest boxes we put up, that's what I want to know!  | nothing up with nest boxes, but wrens like to build them in places ,like under grass bankings, or in ivy, they will improvise and make use of anything thats suitable, ie like your wasps nest, which is something ive never come across before, i had the opposite bees taking over me blue tits. but during the winter months they will use nest boxes to roost in . normally quite a few together. rossy. |
