Amazing! Quite resourceful little birds aren't they. Apparently the male wren builds several nests and the female then chooses which one she likes the best! A wren once built a nest in an ornamental hanging feeder in my garden which hadn't been in use for a few months. It was in a most inappropriate exposed location, but thankfully the female had the good sense not to choose this particular one!
