Goldcrest.....amongst others

I am delighted to say that I have seen a Goldcrest in the garden. These are such lovely birds.

There is a tawny owl only a few hundred meters away too, we can hear him!!

I just wish the woodpeckers would pay us a visit, must be plenty of food in the park I guess.....

Chaffinches, Goldfinches, green finches, blue tits, robins, great tits, sparrows and blackbirds everywhere....

Love this time of year.....

Yes, they are lovely birds. I hear them more often than I see them.

Haven't seen a Goldcrest for a while now, I've usually had a small population stick around most of winter nearby, but haven't really seen them there this year

Great little birds though!
